Volodymyr Zelensky in his own words Cover Image Book Book

Volodymyr Zelensky in his own words / edited by Lisa Rogak and Daisy Gibbons.

Summary:

A book of quotations that covers Zelensky's words and opinions on a wide spectrum of issues--from war and peace to climate change and LGTBQ rights.
Over the past year, people all over the world have regarded the Russian invasion of Ukraine with horror and revulsion. At the same time, they have been heartened by the words and courageous actions of Volodymyr Zelensky, president of Ukraine. As he stands up to an autocratic madman who possesses the power to launch a nuclear holocaust, Zelensky is the hero we didn't know we needed-- and want to know more about. The quotations in this book provide a more nuanced picture of this man who has inspired people around the world. -- adapted from jacket
