Lucy Rowland works as a speech and language therapist for children. Her experience and passion for her work prompted her to make the leap into writing picture books. When sheâs not daydreaming about story ideas, reading A. A. Milne, or thinking up new rhymes, she enjoys backpacking, baking, and long walks on the beach. Lucy Rowland lives in London.
Paula Metcalf has been writing and illustrating for a very long time. Her parents still own a poem she wrote and illustrated when she was four years old. She went on to study illustration and was the first illustrator-in-residence at the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre. She lives in Cambridge, England.
